Each piece is handmade in borosilicate glass and contains sand from the shores of Normandy, where Allied forces landed on D-Day, June 6, 1944. The collection honors the courage and sacrifice that helped preserve the freedom America celebrates 250 years after its founding.
Always With Me Glass was built over nearly five years to help bereaved people remember and stay connected to those they love. This collection was created to fund the next stage of that work.
The next stage is a self guided, retail ready keepsake kit that makes this work accessible to far more people, and an American work from home skilled trade model: training and paying a skilled trade wage to people who create this work from home while caring for their families or navigating circumstances that make conventional employment a difficult fit.

Each piece in the collection arrives with its own signed Certificate of Provenance, recording the artwork, its edition number, its materials, and the history it was made to honor.
Each piece is handmade. Natural variations in the glass, coloration, sand, and form are evidence of its individual creation and are not considered defects.

Every piece in this collection is formed at the torch in Illinois. No two are identical, and none of them are made in a factory.
